Founded in 1993 by husband-and-wife team John and Donna Sedlazek, Mar-Nic General Contractors began with a simple dream, a lot of determination, and a shared belief in doing the work the right way. The name “Mar-Nic” comes from their two sons, Mark and Nicholas — a reflection of the family values that have guided the business from the start.

John and Donna built MarNic with grit, hands-on experience, and a reputation for being dependable, responsive, and honest. What started as small local jobs quickly grew into a trusted name for commercial and industrial clients across Central New Jersey.

In 2025, MarNic entered a new chapter when longtime family friends Eric and Amanda Tibok took the reins. Eric brings years of boots-on-the-ground experience, while Amanda strengthens operations behind the scenes. Together, they carry forward the Sedlazek legacy — upholding the same values that built the business while expanding its reach and capacity for commercial projects.

Still proudly family-run and based in Middlesex, NJ, MarNic specializes in roll-off dumpsters, concrete, demolition, fencing, and more. Whether it’s a one-day dumpster rental or a multi-phase construction project, every job gets the same attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Now raising their own young family — daughter Willow and son Wes — Eric and Amanda are invested in the long-term future of MarNic, the community, and the clients they serve. For them, this is more than a business. It’s a legacy in motion.
