Our Story

Founded in 1993 by John and Donna Sedlazek, Mar-Nic General Contractors was built on a simple philosophy: do quality work, treat people honestly, and stand behind every job.
In 2025, ownership transitioned to Eric Tibok, a longtime friend of the Sedlazek family with more than 20 years of construction experience. Today, Mar-Nic remains a family-owned business committed to the same values that have guided the Company for more than three decades—quality workmanship, dependable service, and lasting customer relationships.

Eric Tibok
Eric leads Mar-Nic with more than 20 years of hands-on construction experience across residential, commercial, and utility projects. Whether he’s meeting with a customer, managing a job site, or working alongside the crew, Eric is committed to quality workmanship, dependable service, and honest business practices. He takes pride in delivering projects safely, efficiently, and with the level of service customers have come to expect from Mar-Nic.
Operations Foreman
Evan Abramo
As Mar-Nic’s Operations Foreman, Evan leads daily field operations while helping coordinate the people, equipment and resources needed to keep projects running smoothly. A graduate of Rutgers University, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy, Institutions, and Behaviors (EPIB). With more than 15 years of construction experience and strong mechanical expertise, Evan combines hands-on leadership with an operational mindset to help deliver quality work and support Mar-Nic’s continued growth.
Roll-Off Driver
Paul Quinn
For more than 15 years, Paul has been a trusted member of the Mar-Nic team, overseeing the Company’s commercial roll-off dumpster operations throughout New Jersey. He takes pride in providing timely deliveries and pickups with dependable, customer-focused service that helps keep projects on schedule. His commitment to safety, reliability and efficiency has made him an integral part of Mar-Nic’s success.
